The route climbs towards Terzorio, Pompeiana and Castellaro. The gradients are not prohibitive and make this first climb decidedly rideable: only in the last part, it reaches 10%. The route follows a slight slope that follows the course of the Argentina river towards Badalucco and then takes the turn from which a long 17 km climb begins that leads to Passo Ghimbegna (altitude 1030 m), after crossing Argallo, Zerni and Vignai. The positive difference in altitude, which is almost 1500 meters, is over: now we descend towards sea level from Bajardo, Ceriana and Poggio di Sanremo, facing the famous descent of the Classicissima Milano-Sanremo in the finale. The 21 km of running that develops over 3 laps of 7 km is spectacular. A flat and flowing segment that will take place on the stretch of the cycle/pedestrian path in the municipality of Sanremo that offers a wonderful sea view and includes crossing the Capo Nero tunnel, an exciting gallery-museum of the Milano-Sanremo.
