Special Prizes at the Challenge Sanremo
The Daniele Rambaldi Trophy is awarded to the first female/male Junior/Under 23 in memory of “Danielone“. The choice was dictated by Rambaldi’s natural predisposition to work with young people. His was the project dedicated to starting a youth center in which boys and girls could mature by discovering the triple discipline and positive values of sport. A way to remember over time the person who for years was the driving force of Triathlon in our province and a point of reference on the national scene but, above all, a sincere, loyal and paternal person.

The Marco Gavino Memorial, dedicated to the memory of the young policeman who died during a humanitarian mission in Kosovo, will be awarded to the athlete who sets the fastest time in the running section. Marco was, for everyone, a great friend and a person with great human qualities. The decision to donate the trophy to the best runner stems from Marco’s past as an athlete, himself a good runner, in a discipline to which he devoted himself with passion and sacrifice.
