With just over six months to go until the fourth edition of the Challenge Sanremo, registrations for the event on 20-21 September 2025 are continuing at a fast pace. Compared to the same period last year, registrations have increased by 48%, numbers that underlines the growing popularity of the race, especially internationally.
Foreign athletes are attracted by the traditions and Italian lifestyle, the breathtaking landscapes of the Riviera dei Fiori, the beauty and colors of the coastal area, but also the charm of the mountains just a few kilometers from the sea. Challenge Sanremo encompasses all of this, with a route that honors all the naturalistic and landscape beauties of the province of Imperia and embraces a large area of western Liguria, offering extraordinary views and giving athletes the opportunity to tackle an iconic stretch of the Milano-Sanremo, one of the most famous cycling road race.
On the weekend of September 20-21, in addition to the Challenge Sanremo Middle Distance, the main event, there will be the Challenge Sanremo Swimrun, the sprint distance triathlon and the youth races. Registration is open on the official website.
