News towards the 2025 edition of the Challenge Sanremo: here comes the Swim & Run

An interesting new feature is coming to the race program of the Challenge Sanremo 2025. On the weekend of 20-21 September, the Swim & Run race will be inserted in place of the Swimrun, an opportunity open to all athletes to experience the international event hosted by the City of Music as protagonists.

The Swim & Run includes a 400 meter swim leg and a 2 km run leg to be repeated three times, thus offering the opportunity to multi-discipline enthusiasts to test themselves on this short and fun race and, at the same time, giving beginners an opportunity to get closer to a multi-disciplinary activity.

The Challenge Sanremo Swim & Run – Memorial Alessio Bianchi replaces the Swimrun in the race program, too often conditioned by the sea conditions of this area of the Ligurian Sea and therefore subject to unexpected changes in program and route. The new formula, which will take place in a smaller area than the Swimrun, will allow companions and the public to follow the entire race and the protagonists of this stimulating discipline to experience first-hand a true celebration of world sport.

In the coming days, the race program will be announced and the details for the Nuota & Corri registration will be provided.
