The charity project carried out on the occasion of the Challenge Sanremo 2022 ended with the most awaited moment of these months: the four pulse oximeters purchased with the money raised in the charity linked to last September international race were delivered to the pediatric department of the Imperia hospital.
Thanks to the donations of participants and fans, to the precious support of Rotary Sanremo Hanbury, of the Riviera Triathlon 1992 sports club and to Sabrina Schillaci, who competed in the first edition of Challenge Sanremo and promoted the initiative with Race Across Limits, a useful amount was raised to purchase four devices dedicated to the memory of Alessio Bianchi, Daniele Rambaldi, Marco Gavino and Daniela Conte.
“From today the pediatric department of Imperia has new pulse oximeters that recall the memory of people important to us – says Daniele Moraglia, Race Director of Challenge Sanremo and president of the Riviera Triathlon 1992 – We are very satisfied to have come full circle with the delivery equipment and we will soon relaunch a new Charity initiative linked to the 2023 edition of the Challenge Sanremo (September 23-24), again to support the pediatric department of Imperia”.
